About

In my final year of medical school. I applied in 2009 and in 2010 started on the BM6 programme at Southampton which is their widening participation programme. In 2011-12 I took a year out, but am now in final year and applying for jobs doing doctoring things.

I work as a student ambassador at the university in particular helping out with widening access activities and outreach. I also have spent the last 5 years as a personal statement reviewer, helping those applying to medical school. I work at the interviews and open days and have spent my time finding information for applicants to demystify the process!

I believe in an open and honest medicine admissions process with open data and clear marking criteria so that no one is left in the dark about how and where to apply.
